The Eurocar plant (Solomonovo village, Transcarpathian region) received permission to produce Skoda Yeti passenger cars. In February, a pilot batch of Skoda Yeti rolled off the assembly line of a Ukrainian enterprise. The pilot series vehicles successfully passed testing, installation and quality control procedures. Based on the test results, a decision was made to mass produce the new SUV. The full-fledged Skoda Yeti SUV is the embodiment of a number of rational and progressive solutions, such as, for example, the VarioFlex rear seat system, already well known from the Roomster model, the “Off-Road” function, thanks to which the car maintains a given speed when descending steep slopes, the latest, 4th generation “Haldex” all-wheel drive system, and much more. The dimensions of the car (length 4223 mm, width 1793 mm, height 1691 mm) allow you to increase the size of the trunk to 1760 liters. Yeti's innovative technologies provide a wide range of radio and navigation systems, telephones and multifunction steering wheels. The car can be equipped with a mobile interface. When developing the Yeti, Skoda engineers also paid great attention to active and passive safety. The new Skoda Yeti SUV received the highest five-star rating in crash tests conducted by Euro NCAP. In all three categories - Adult Occupant Protection, Child Occupant Protection and Pedestrian Protection - Yeti scored highly under the new, more stringent vehicle safety rating system. According to Euro NCAP tests, the Skoda Yeti is one of the most reliable and safe cars in its class. The Yeti made its world premiere at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2009. In Ukraine, the cost of a Skoda Yeti in the Ambition configuration with a 1.8TSI/118kW all-wheel drive engine starts from 28,500 USD.
