Skoda spoke about a new compact car for the Chinese and Russians

The new product, being developed for the markets of Europe, China and Russia, has a liftback body with a trunk lid that can be opened along with the rear window, the company said in a statement on the Worldcafans website. Skoda will bring a MissionL prototype to the Frankfurt Motor Show; it is still unknown when the production version of the car will appear. It is only reported that the new model will take a place in the Skoda line between Fabia and Octavia. “Our new compact model MissionL clearly shows the direction in which the brand will move,” said Skoda Chairman of the Board of Directors Winfried Faland. “The world premiere in Frankfurt shows that Skoda is going full speed ahead!” Over the next two to three years, we will present a new model every six months." In March of this year, at a press conference, the Czech automaker confirmed the serial production of two new models - its own version of the subcompact city car Volkswagen Up! and a car that will take its place in the range between the Fabia and Octavia, recalls Motor.ru. The latter of them was described by Skoda as very practical, spacious and with “an excellent ratio of price and all advantages.”
